Why RCS

Texting is becoming a channel, not a notification

RCS is the future of business messaging. Same inbox, now with branding, images, buttons, read receipts, and a conversation that goes both ways. With support on both Android and newer iPhones, it now reaches most of the phones your customers carry, and it falls back to SMS where it does not.

Everywhere

Android and iPhone now support the same rich messaging standard, so reach is no longer limited to one side of the market. Coverage still depends on the carrier and the device.

81%

Of consumers say they prefer RCS to traditional SMS, and three in four businesses planned to invest in it this year. Your customers will be asking about it.

AI

Momentum Messaging pairs RCS with AI agents that answer inbound questions and route the rest, with 10DLC, SOC 2, and HIPAA compliance built in.
Show your customers

Put it in front of a customer

Open the Momentum messages on your phone in front of a customer, let them tap through a card, and talk to the AI agent live. Then walk through where it would fit their business.

Appointments that confirm themselves

A branded card with the date, the address, and Confirm or Reschedule buttons. Fewer no-shows and fewer calls to the front desk.

Order and delivery updates

Product image, tracking status, and a reply option in the thread. Nothing to download and no email that gets ignored.

Support without the hold music

Customers text, someone answers, and the whole history stays in one thread.

Dispatch and arrival windows

Technician name, arrival window, and live status. The customer replies instead of calling dispatch.

Payment and renewal reminders

A clear amount, a due date, and a Pay Now button. Fewer late payments and fewer collections calls.

Staff and shift notices

Schedule changes, urgent alerts, and shift pickups sent to the whole team, with replies coming back to one place.

Your customers will ask about RCS. Be the one who has used it.

FAQ

RCS for partners, frequently asked questions

What is RCS, and how is it different from SMS?

Rich Communication Services is the next generation of carrier messaging. It adds branded sender profiles, high quality images, carousels, interactive buttons, read receipts, and typing indicators to the same messaging app your customer already uses. Messages travel over data connections rather than legacy carrier channels, which is what makes the richer experience possible.

Which customers qualify for RCS?

Any legitimate registered business with an approved use case. The brand needs a legal entity and EIN, a consistent business name and logo, a working privacy policy that states how phone numbers are used, and a contact who can authorize the sender profile. Campaigns and use cases must meet carrier and industry requirements, so transactional messaging generally clears review faster than promotional sending.

Which customers are the best fit?

Any business that depends on fast customer communication. Common fits include healthcare with appointment reminders, retail with promotions and order updates, financial services with account alerts and verification, field operations with dispatch and scheduling, recruiting with candidate engagement, and sales teams with lead follow up.

Is my customer buying SMS or RCS?

Both. RCS requires carrier support and brand verification before a business can send, so real programs pair RCS with SMS and MMS as a fallback. The message still lands when RCS is not available on that device.

How long does it take to get a customer live?

Brand and campaign registration typically clears in five to ten business days, and RCS brand verification runs on top of that. Most customers start sending on SMS the same day while the RCS sender profile is approved.

Does the end customer need to install anything?

No. RCS arrives in the messaging app already on the phone. Support depends on the carrier and the device, and covers Android as well as newer iPhones.

How does consent and opt-out work?

Recipients have to opt-in, and the sender profile must link a privacy policy explaining how numbers are used. Momentum Messaging includes 10DLC registration, automated opt-in and opt-out management, blocklist support, and message traceability on every conversation.

Is it secure enough for regulated customers?

Yes. Momentum Messaging is SOC 2 Type II certified and HIPAA compliant, and customer conversations are never used to train AI models or shared with third parties.

What does the AI agent in this demo do?

It answers product questions using content from gomomentum.com. Think quick details rather than a deep dive. It does not quote pricing or handle deals, so bring those to your channel manager.

Will Momentum market to my customers?

No. This program is for you. Your customers stay yours, and you can reply STOP to opt out at any time.
